This is an informal cruise route that All Around Mopars put together as a precursor to our Mopar Magic Show to make it a two-day event for those interested. It is our hope that this will provide an informal way for you to enjoy your Mopar, see other Mopars while enjoying the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas on a scenic cruise route. The cruise is all on 2 lane blacktop until we get to Silverdale on WA3 on the home stretch. It takes you around a good deal of the Hood Canal shoreline, through the Olympic National Forest, through historic Port Townsend, around Oak Bay, Paradise Bay and through historic Port Gamble. While we set this up for use on July 30th, 2022, we will leave this info posted because this is a great drive at any time, and we are proud of the beautiful areas where All Around Mopars is based.
This cruise starts and ends at the Purdy Park and Ride, close to WA 16 - 7 miles north of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and just north of Gig Harbor.
The whole route is 175 miles long and takes from 3 ½ to 4 hours, depending on traffic, according to MapQuest if you drive it straight through. We recommend that you plan on 6 ½ to 7 hours including pit stops, scenic pauses, and lunch and sightseeing in Historic Port Townsend.
GPS waypoints, turn by turn directions and a detailed map will be supplied at the start of the cruise and we will probably post all that info on the interweb early. A small map of the route is shown above.
